Obituary for Patricia A. "Patti" Evanick
Patricia A. "Patti" (Petzold) Evanick, 65, of Indiana, PA., passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 at her home.
She was the daughter of Robert and Agnes (Kastlemeyer) Petzold, she was born on April 20, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Patti married the love of her life Jim, raised two wonderful loving sons, Scott and Chris. She was passionate about her faith, gardening, cooking and baking for her family and friends.
She brought countless people into the Catholic Faith and helped beautify Indiana's finest ladies. Our Patti will be remembered as caring, fun-loving and forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Evanick of Indiana, PA; two sons, Scott W. Evanick of Indiana, PA; Chris P. Evanick and wife Emily of South Park, PA; six brothers and sisters, David Maier and wife Ruth of Pittsburgh, PA; Denni Zurchin and husband Tom of Texas; Jodi Maier of Pittsburgh, PA; Trudi Maier of Indiana, PA; Stacey Meskanick of Mars, PA; Heidi Schepis and husband Robert of Crafton, PA.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents and her step father, R. Wayne Maier.
Friends will be received on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bence-Mihalcik Funeral Home, Indiana, PA. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More University Parish With Fr. Michael J. Crookston celebrant and Fr. Michael P. Sikon co-celebrant. Interment will be private.
