Edna Faye (Buterbaugh) Vasbinder, 86, of Clymer, PA., passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at St. Andrews Village, Indiana, PA.

She was the daughter of Noble and Flora (Bash) Buterbaugh, born on April 5, 1927 in Wandin, PA.

Edna was a member of the Penns Manor Nazarene Church in Kenwood, PA. She loved working in her garden with her flowers and doing crafts. Edna was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two children, Donald Eugene Vasbinder of Diamondville, PA and Linda Huston and husband Ray of State College, PA; two sisters, Annabella Hayes of Indiana, PA; Shirley Brantley and husband Ray of SC; two brothers, Martin Buterbaugh of Wandin, PA; Paul Buterbaugh and wife Doreen of CA; six grandchildren, Timothy, Terry, Michael and wife Heather, Randy and wife Sara, Debbie and Molly; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence Lyle Vasbinder; one son, Richard; two sisters, Dorothy Jean and Mary Lou; six brothers, Bob, Sam, Ernest, Dave, Bud and Noble Jr.; two infant brothers and two infant sisters.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. Her funeral service will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Robert White, officiating. Interment will be in the East Mahoning cemetery.
