Obituary for Carl Johns
Carl Johns, 55, of Clymer, PA., passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014.
He was the son of Carl and Edna Faye (Wyland) Johns, born on May 28, 1958 in Indiana, PA.
Carl worked for Whipstock as a water truck driver. He love spending time with his daughters and his family. Carl was a loving husband and father.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cynthia K. (Shank) Johns of Clymer; three daughters, Melissa Johns, Amanda Johns both of Indiana, PA, and Heather Johns of Clymer; his mother-in-law, Arvilla Shank of Clymer; two brothers, Bobby Johns and wife Kathy of Clymer; Cecil Johns and wife Linda of Rochester Mills; one sister, Carol Murdick of Creekside.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Theodore L. Shank.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. His funeral services will be on Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor James McCaulley, officiating. Interment will be made in the Sample Run Cemetery, Clymer.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, 655 Franklin St., Clymer, PA 15728.
