Obituary for Flora A. Taylor (Gromley)

Flora A. (Gromley) Taylor, 102 of Clymer PA., passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Indian Haven Nursing Home, Indiana.

She was the daughter of Josiah L. and Mary E. (Sheppard) Gromley, born on March 20, 1912 in Cookport, PA.
Flora was an avid reader and love to do word searches. She loved working in her gardens and tending to her flower beds. Flora was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mary E. (Roberts) Taylor; the following grandchildren, Fredrich and Dawn (Hughs) Taylor; Susan and Jim Hammond II; Edward and Lori Taylor; Nancy and Paul Hunt; Anita and Timothy Deabenderfer; Sandra and Fred Jordan; Robert Taylor; Richard and Jamie Taylor; 22 great-grandchildren and 17 great great-grandchildren.

Flora was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Zeddie E. in 1973; one son, James F. in 2007; granddaughter-in-law, Carol Sapp Taylor; great granddaughter-in-law, Rebecka Taylor and 17 brothers and sisters.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. Her funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Robert White, officiating. Interment will be private.
