Sarah R. (Uvena) Tocci, 85, of Indiana, died at her home on June 18, 2015, following an extended illness.

Born in Ernest on June 21, 1929, she was the only child of the late Anthony S. Uvena and Dora (Barbi) Uvena.

She was the wife of Robert F. “Bob” Tocci whom she married October 18, 1952. Later this year they would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. Sarah was a loving and caring wife and mother who always cared for her family first. She was an excellent Italian cook and baker. She also enjoyed to go shopping. One of her favorite activities was playing in the Tuesday night Card Club. Sarah was a longtime member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband, Bob, Sarah is survived by her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Juart and her husband, Thomas of Ernest. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received Monday, June 22nd from 2:00 until 7:00PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church in Indiana. Entombment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
