Evelyn Patricia (Buggey) Vitale, 82, of Indiana, passed away surrounded by family and friends, Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

Evelyn graduated from Pine Township High School class of 1953.

She worked for various businesses in Indiana and Armstrong County, including Stapleton’s Restaurant, Quality Cleaners, Dairy Dell and the Indiana County Blind Association. She was co-owner of the Record Shop, bartender at the End Zone Lounge and most recently a nanny and home health aid.

Evelyn enjoyed the company of friends and family, as well as playing bingo, slot machines and shopping.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Vitale; son, Robert Vitale; grandson, Douglas Vitale; great granddaughter, Natalie Vitale; siblings: Raymond Buggey; Robert “Terry” Buggey; and Barbara Holt. Evelyn is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Buggey and Evelyn (Barnes) Buggey; son, Richard Vitale and her brother, John Buggey.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday afternoon, March 12th at 1:30 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. Interment will be private and held at the family’s convenience.
