Obituary for Joseph Brent Wells Sr.

Joseph Brent  Wells Sr.
Joseph Brent Wells, Sr., 42, of Indiana County, was killed in an automobile accident in Young Twp. on November 10, 2016. He was born, August 2, 1974 in Wabash, Indiana to Larry J. Wells and Christine Marie (May) Lux.

He attended Saltsburg High School and worked as a carpenter. He was a Boy Scout and earned his Life Badge.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved being a father and being with his children.

Joseph is survived by his mother, Christine Marie (May) Lux and step-father, John Lux, of Clarksburg; His father, Larry Wells, and step- mother Connie Wells of Kentucky; The following children survive him: Ayngelea Stevens, Lance Griffith, Jasmine Wells, Jocelyn Wells and Kaylee Wells, all of Kentucky, as well as Ashlynn Wells, Allynia Wells, Ayriella Wells, of Homer City, and Jessalyn Wells, who survived the accident that took her brother’s and father’s lives. He is also survived by his siblings: Lisa Marie Martz, of Homer City; Justin Lee Wells, of Indiana; David Ryan Wells(Nora), of Brush Valley; and step-siblings Jonathan Lux and Jennifer Lux, both, of Ford City. His grandchildren include Abraella and Roman Stevens. His grandmothers who survive him are Christine May and Ella Ruth Wells.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Wells, Jr. and both grandfathers, Thomas Henry May and Rolland Wells.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 16th from 11AM- 1PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, of Indiana. The funeral service Joseph and his son Joey will begin at 1PM at the funeral home.
