Marie  McDonough (Burke)
Marie (Burke) McDonough, 89, of Indiana, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 2, 2017, at St. Andrew’s Village. She was born December 6.1927 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Edmund and Agnes (Greene) Burke.

Marie was a member of St. Thomas More University Parish (Newman Center) and previously at St. Bernard Parish in Mt. Lebanon. She was married to John “Jay” McDonough for 53 years until his death in 2006. They moved from Pittsburgh to Indiana in 2000 and enjoyed many special family times with their grandchildren.

Marie is survived by two daughters: Mary Roberto & husband Domenic, Indiana; and Kathleen McCahey and husband Michael, Middletown, MD. Three grandsons: Jay Roberto and Michael and John McCahey; a sister, Patti Millward, Wheeling, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John, her sister Margaret Korsnick and brothers-in-law George Korsnick and Gene Millward.

Her daughters wish to extend their appreciation to Dr. Bernard Coppolo and the nursing and support staff at St. Andrew’s Village for their outstanding and empathetic care.

Friends will be received on Sunday, February 5th from 4:00-7:00PM, at The Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Monday morning at St. Thomas More University Parish at 10AM with Rev. Andres Gumangan, celebrant. Entombment will be at St.Bernard Cemetery.
