Obituary for Toy Logan

Toy Jane Logan, 92, of Indiana, died Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born December 23, 1924 in Morton, PA she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Coppack) Watson. She was the wife of the late Howard Logan, to whom she was married for 68 years.

Toy enlisted as a private in the U.S. Army and was going to serve as an X Ray Technician during World War II, however the war ended before she was able to serve. She worked as an X Ray Technician at Indiana Hospital and previously at hospitals in Johnstown and Cleveland, OH.

Toy is survived by her daughters Debi Lorenzo and her husband, Scott and by Peggy Sue Adams and her husband, Joe, all of Penn Run. In addition, she is survived by the following grandchildren: Amanda Yurky (Josh) of Homer City; Regis Troxell, of Okinawa, Japan; and, Keith Troxell (Diane), of Winchester, VA and great-grandchildren Peyton and Grace Yurky, and Alice Troxell . Her brother Harvey Rudolph, of Indiana, also survives her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Peggy Randolph.

A private burial of her cremated remains will be held at Oakland Cemetery on Thursday, May 4th. The family is being served by Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, of Indiana.
