Obituary for David Michael Busovicki

David Michael Busovicki
David Michael Busovicki, 51, of Clymer, died May 14, 2017 following injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident on Route 22 in Salem Township, Westmoreland County. Born in Indiana, February 10, 1966, he was a son of John F. Busovicki and Rose Ann (Felichko) Busovicki, of Clymer. On September 26, 1992, he married Tina M. (Douglass) Busovicki, his wife of nearly 25 years. Together they raised two children, Lyndzey and Zackary.

In 1984 he graduated from Penns Manor High School, and four years later in 1988 he graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. For more than six years Dave has worked as a computer analyst for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Before joining the F.B.I., he worked in Johnstown for the National Drug Intelligence Center. Prior to that he had worked for various government contractors in the Washington, D.C. area.
He was a devoted husband and father who loved his family dearly. He often showered them with kisses and hugs. Dave enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to fish and hunt, especially archery and going to the family camp. He loved to follow Notre Dame football and basketball. He also enjoyed watching the Steelers. He was very proud of his children, and loved to cheer them on during their sporting events. Dave loved to ride his motorcycle and always kept it running in top condition. Lastly, he had a special place in his heart for his two dogs, Bentley and Bayley.

He was a member of the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen’s Association, and a lifetime member of Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Dave was a devoted Catholic and loved serving the church. His faith was a huge part of who he was, and anyone who knew him knew how much he loved God.

In addition to his wife Tina, and his parents, Dave is survived by his children: Lyndzey E. Busovicki and Zackary D. Busovicki, Clymer. Other survivors include his siblings: John F. Busovicki, Jr. & wife, Laurie, Penn Run; Joseph A. Busovicki & wife, Tina, Marion Center, and Lisa M. Busovicki, Clymer. Dave will also be missed by his mother-in-law, Debra Douglass, Indiana; brother-in-law, Steven Douglass & fiancé, Jackie Fritz, Indiana; nieces, Nicole and Diane Busovicki, Marion Center, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, George F. Douglass; paternal grandparents, John and Blanche Busovicki, and maternal grandparents, Paul and Evelyn Felichko.

Friends will be received Thursday, May 18th from 2:00 until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at ten o’clock at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Rev. George Saletrik will be celebrant. Burial will be at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Clymer.
