Obituary for Robert "Earl" Blose

Robert “Earl” Blose, 82, of Heilwood, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at Hillsdale Nursing Home, Hillsdale.

Born April 12, 1935, in Knox, he was a son of Hamilton Miller Blose and Leota Alice (Weaver) Blose. He married Shirley Arlene (Jarvie) Blose on Sept. 8, 1959, and together they shared 43 years of marriage and raised three children.

Earl entered the army in 1954 and served in the Korean War.

He is survived by his two children: Randy Blose, Shelocta; and Judy Yeager and husband Matthew, Indiana; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Blose, Indiana; grandchildren: Brent Blose, Bahrain; Samantha Blose, Penn Run; Melissa and Brian Blose, Indiana; and Matthew Jr., Jessica, and Austin Yeager, all of Indiana; siblings Bernice Badhorn, Toledo, Ohio, and Minta Weaver, Seneca; and a special niece, Janie Wise, Indiana.

In addition to his parents and wife, Earl was preceded in death by his son, David Blose, and siblings: Max Blose; an infant brother; Carl Blose; Laura Bell Wise; Edith Patterson; Florence Haase; Jessie McMasters; and Louise Fogarty.

Service arrangements and final disposition will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The Blose family is being assisted by the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer, where online condolences may be made at www.rbfh.net.
