Obituary for James E Henry

James Emerson Henry, 77, of Clymer, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at his residence. Born in Cookport, March 24, 1940, he was a son of the late Harry Henry and Florence E. (Rankin) Henry.

He was a coal miner by trade and in his free time he loved to work with and train horses. He also enjoyed fishing. Jim was a member of the Member of the U.S. Trotting Association.

He is survived by his grandchildren: Scott Wolfe, Pittsburgh; and Megan Wolfe, Heilwood, plus two great grandchildren. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Charlotte Gromley; his half-brothers, Ralph and Arthur Henry.

All services are private. Final disposition will be held at the convenience of the family. The Henry family is being assisted by the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer.
