Obituary for Rose Marie Rusko

Rose Marie Rusko of Starford, died Sunday, August 6, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late John Rusko and Mary (Yevchak) Rusko. She was born in Starford.

She was a graduate of Green Township High School in Commodore and went on to work for the former Troutman’s Department Store and Season All Industries, both of Indiana. Having grown up in Starford, Rose Marie and her family were active members of the former St. Elizabeth’s Church. She was currently a member of the Church of the Resurrection where she attended services at both the Heilwood and Clymer locations.

Rose Marie is survived by her sister Anna Mae Rusko, Starford, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Leonard Rusko.

As per Rose’s requests, there will no public visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, August 9th at 11am at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Rev. Anthony Klimko will be the celebrant. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Orthodox Greek Catholic Cemetery, Clymer.

The Rusko family is being assisted by the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer.
