Doyle Llwayne Berringer, 80, of Hillsdale, died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

Born November 29, 1937 in Starford, he was the son of the late Wayne Berringer and Grace (Spicher) Berringer.

Doyle went to Montgomery Township High School until his senior year, when he was in the first graduating class at Purchase Line High School. He went on to become long haul truck driver.

Doyle is survived by his children: Christiana White, Brenda Sinclair, Carolyn Forberger, and Claudia Gunter. Step-children: Tammy Lechner, April Peel, Erik Peel, and Gerald Berringer. His sisters: Sandra McFarland and Donna Ramer. He is also survived by many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Donald Berringer; his grandson: Joshua Kyle White; his wife, Mary Peel; and most recently by his companion Margaret Wells.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
