Obituary for Sandra Lee Goss (Kaylor)

Sandra Lee  Goss (Kaylor)
Sandra Lee (Kaylor) Goss, 48, of Starford, died Monday, April 2, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born to the late John R. Kaylor and Oralee (Shuster) Kaylor, on August 4, 1969, in Butler. She married Montey Goss on June 22, 1996; together they shared nearly 22 years of marriage.

Sandra was a TV buff who enjoyed watching her favorite shows. She also enjoyed NASCAR, camping and going to church. Sandra was a member of the Starford United Methodist Church.

She was a 1987 graduate of Saltsburg High School. Prior to her illness, Sandra was a cook at Betty Lou’s Restaurant in Starford and at the Cherryhill Manor Personal Care Home in Penn Run.

In addition to her husband, Montey, she is survived by their children: Chantel Stitt (Tim), Punxsutawney; Kirsten Goss, Starford; and step-son, Montey Goss, Jr., Indiana. She is also survived by her two siblings: Robert Kaylor (Jennifer), Monument, Colorado; and Beth Sinclair, Saltsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother, Edith Duke; father-in-law, Valgene Goss; her brothers-in-law: Thomas Sinclair, Jr. and Donnie Goss, sisters-in-law: Cindy Goss and Kathy Peles.

Friends will be received Wednesday, April 4th from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. Another visitation hour will be held Thursday morning from 10 AM until 11 AM, the time of service at the funeral home. Rev. Robert Kaylor, her brother, will officiate. Burial will be in the East Mahoning Cemetery, Purchase Line.
