Obituary for Mary Ann Shoff

Mary Ann Null Shoff, 86, of Indiana, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 surrounded by her children. She was born in Ramey, PA, to the late Paul L. and Mary (Shedlock) Null.

She is predeceased by her husband, Dr. William C. Shoff. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her two brothers, John Null, James Null and her sister, Jeanne Wilkerson.

Mary Ann is survived by her three children, Cindy Speegle and her spouse, Chip Speegle of Henderson, NV; Bill Shoff and his spouse, Olga Selivanova-Shoff of London, England; and Jim Shoff and his spouse, Angie Shoff of Charlotte, NC. Mary Ann was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Adam Speegle, Taylor Speegle and his spouse, Jennifer and daughter Majestic Terhune; Annie Sobolewski and her spouse Blake Sobolewski and their three children, Cole, Charlie and Whit, Katya, Liza and Alex Shoff; Curry, Hannah and Megan Shoff; sister-in-law Deloris Null of Curwensville, PA; sister-in-law Marcella Null of Laurel, DE and many nephews and nieces.

Mary Ann attended Madera High School before graduating from Indiana Area High School in 1950. She was the loving wife and partner of Dr. William C. Shoff for 56 years and was very active in the development and management of his dental practice during his 50 years of service to his patients. Additionally, she was an active member of multiple community service efforts and took tremendous pride in those activities. She was fortunate to have remained active in her multiple bridge clubs and Quester’s until the end of her life. A member of Calvary Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, Mary Ann most recently served a three-year term as Deacon.

The family would like to thank Greg Moore from the Visiting Nurses Association for the loving care provided to their mother and her many wonderful friends who have shown her love and support.

A memorial service will be held in late September at the Calvary Presbyterian Church in Indiana, PA. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church’s Deacon Fund, 695 School St, Indiana, PA 15701.
