Obituary for Ronald Ruddock

Ronald H. Ruddock, 74, of Clymer, died unexpectedly at his home, Sunday, August 5, 2018. Born in Indiana, June 20, 1944, he was a twin son of the late, David A. Ruddock and Gwen (Henry) Ruddock.

Ron attended Penns Manor Schools before starting a thirty year career with PennDot where he worked on a road maintenance crew.

He was an avid outdoorsman where he spent a lot of time with his twin brother, Don, where the two would often hunt, fish and go camping.

He was a member of the Clymer Christian Church.

Ron is survived by his sister, Nanette “Jane” Kolick (Larry), Youngwood and his twin brother, Donald Ruddock (Judy), Clymer. His seven surviving nephews are: Scott Neff, Columbus, OH; Dave Neff (Sheri), Indiana; Don Ruddock, Jr. (Marie), Clymer; Brian Ruddock, Home, PA; David Ruddock (Kim), Shelocta; Bill Ruddock (Missie), Tanoma and Bob Ruddock (Tracey), Clymer. Ron will also be missed by his many great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 8th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. His funeral service will begin at 11 AM Thursday morning at the funeral home. Pastor Bob White will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ruffner Cemetery, Tanoma.
