Helen E. (Stephens) McCunn, 99, of Indiana, died Saturday, November 24, 2018 at her home. Born July 22, 1919 in Cherryhill Township, she was a daughter of the late Edward H. Stephens and Emma Jane (Dick) Stephens. She was the widow of Howard D. McCunn, who died, August 19, 2010.

For many years, Helen worked at what is now the former King Leather Company in Indiana, where she was a seamstress. She later worked at FMC in Homer City, working until the plant closed which coincided with her retirement.

Prior to her husband’s death, Helen enjoyed taking long rides through the countryside with her husband. She also liked to attend family reunions, and she always enjoyed reading.

She was the last member of her immediate family. She’ll be remembered by her cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her siblings: Loy, Lawrence and Clyde Stephens; Rachel Stephens; Ila Murdisck; Mary Brown; Ruth Brown and Betty Eger.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, Morning at 11AM at the Oakland Cemetery in Indiana.
