Anna P. (Zapotocky) Zimmerman, 54 of Penn Run PA., passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, surrounded by her family.

She was the daughter of Dorothy (Kinser) Morris and Pete Zapotocky, born on September 25, 1960 in Hammond, Indiana.

Annie was a pet groomer for many years, and had her own shop, Ann’s Pet Grooming. She was a true animal lover her entire life. She used to train and raise show dogs. She was always known for her cooking and wanting to make everyone's favorite foods for them. Annie also had passions for canning, gardening, music and going camping. She was a loving wife, mother and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Ken E. Zimmerman, Jr. of Penn Run; one daughter, Marissa Zimmerman of Shelocta; one sister, Carol Smith and husband Richard of WV; two brothers, Pete Zapotocky of Belsano, PA and John Zapotocky and wife Barbara of FL; and many nieces and nephews.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Michael Ferrell.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. Her memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to Four Footed Friends or the American Diabetes Association.
