Condolences

Condolence From: Betsy Duncan-Spong
Condolence: Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of one of the most wonderful woman I've ever known. I am the daughter of Charles and MaryJane Duncan and the granddaughter of Esther and Charles Ferrier. Maryann took incredible care of Esther when she was in the nursing home.
She visited many times a week and brought light to grandma's tedious days in the home after her stroke. Since the rest of our family lived in Michigan we weren't able to visit as often as we wanted....and Grandma refused to come live in Michigan with us. You have no idea how much Maryann was cared about by our family. Dad always made sure that our visits to Indiana included a visit with MaryAnn. The last time I called her on the phone (following my Dad's final wishes that I keep in touch) I could tell she didn't remember me. That doesn't lessen our family's gratefulness for her kindness.

I just found out about her passing from my Uncle Allen Woods of Indiana, now living in Raleigh, NC. I would have written much sooner if I had known. I hope this finds its way to the family even though it's the end of August. Both of my parents are gone now and I understand the pain.

May you find peace and comfort in your family and friends, and in hearing again how much your Mom was loved.

Condolence: Please accept my deepest sympathy at the passing of Maryann. She was a good friend of my Mother, Ardee Ober. They worked at the Livestock Auction Barn years ago where they had lots of fun exchanging recipes and eating lunch together. Heaven has another angel now.

Condolence: Your mom was a very special lady. I still use the glass blown cake holder she gave us for a wedding gift (47 years ago). Not sure which we liked more--the cake holder or the cake that was on it! She touched and influenced many lives. She will always be remembered with love.
Frank said she was one of his best customers!
