Obituary for Dianne Terlion

Dianne  Terlion
Dianne Marie Victoria Terlion, 63, of Indiana entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 23 at St. Andrew’s Village with her family by her side. She was born on November 22, 1952 at the Indiana Hospital. Dianne attended Penns Manor Area Schools. She was proud to be a member of the wonderful graduating class of 1970. These classmates continued to be some of her best friends. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and continued her education later at St. Francis University to obtain her masters degree. Dianne worked at Penelec GPU and completed her career there as a facilitator/logistics coordinator. She attended the Summit Church of Indiana, PA.

Dianne was an ambitious entrepreneur. She owned and operated The Magic Carpet Factory. Additionally, she renovated local motels and became the proprietor of McGreggor, Twin Pines, and Four Flags Motels. Dianne had various rental properties, including one in Mount Washington, where she also dedicated her time as a tour guide at the historic Duquesne Incline. She will be remembered for her strong desire, determination, and hard work in completing all challenges. Dianne had a smile that would brighten your day. Dianne enjoyed spending time outdoors, always completing a new project and watching the hummingbirds she fed daily.

She is survived by her mother, Angeline, of Indiana; a brother Dan (Jane) of Pittsburgh; a sister Darlene (John) Rizzo of Heilwood; a niece, Annie Rizzo and a nephew, Johnny Rizzo, both of Heilwood; her dog, Bambi; and her cat, Piney. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel (Ben); maternal grandparents, Joseph and Fanny Kosmac; paternal grandparents Samuel and Natasha Terlion; and her beloved dog and best friend, Tappy.

Friends will be received Thursday, August 25th from 4 – 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana, where her funeral service will begin at 2 PM Friday at the funeral home, Pastor Richard Motzing officiating. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Indiana, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Four Footed Friends, 220 Beck Rd, Indiana, PA 15701 of Indiana or the Indiana County Humane Society, 191 Airport Rd, Indiana, PA 15701.
