Condolence From: Joyce Micikas
Condolence: I met Dianne 30 years ago and was amazed by all she had accomplished with her life-the Magic Carpet Factory, buying and renovating the motels, purchasing and remodeling the apartment building on Mt. Washington, working at the incline-all of which she did after working many years at Penelec. We shared a lot of good times together. Dianne spoke so highly of her nephew Johnnie and niece Annie. I have lost a good friend but know that she is now at peace. My sincere sympathy to Dianne's family at this time and in the days ahead.

Condolence: Fifteen years ago, I purchased my very first home from Dianne. It was such a welcome surprise when she returned to our wonderful neighborhood years later. Dianne and I would often visit in our backyards, and since we both loved gardening and our precious pets, we had much to discuss. I was always in awe of Dianne's beauty, intelligence, confidence, and success in life. As I sat on my deck this morning, I realized that Dianne will still be with me as I enjoy the trees she planted, the beautiful flowers she knew so well, and of course, the visiting hummingbirds she so adored. Thank you for your friendship, Dianne. Rest in peace...

Condolence: Diane and I were co-facilitators on a 3 day program
when we both worked at Penelec. I believe we did them about 20 times when I really got to know Diane. I am shocked to hear of her passing. After we both left Penelec I would occasionally run into her and she would update me on her various ventures into the real estate business. She was a determined and successful lady. I am saddened by her passing. My condolences to her family.
