Catherine “Kay” Louise (Renosky) Andrie, 80 of Indiana died, Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Kay was born in Beyer, PA, September 2, 1936.

She was a daughter of the late Andrew Renosky and Mary (Zolocsik) Renosky. She was the wife of Mario E. Andrie whom she married August 31, 1957. Kay and Mario recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. Together they raised four children.

She was a graduate of Marion Center High School. Kay spent most of her life as a homemaker and very much enjoyed raising her children and spending time with her family and friends. She was employed at Robertshaw Controls, Troutman’s Department Store and the Co-Op Book Store at IUP.

Kay was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church of Indiana where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Along with spending time with her family, she enjoyed traveling, especially trips to the beach, and was a great cook. Kay will be forever remembered for her great sense of humor and uplifting and positive attitude. She very much enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

She will be remembered by her husband, Mario and her four children: Darlene Catherine Andrie, Indiana; Denise Anne Shildt and husband Ken, Indiana; Mario Douglas Andrie and wife, Norma, Reedsville, PA and Michelle Lynn Andrie, residing in Maryland. She enjoyed spending time and staying involved with her grandsons: Dr. Joseph Andrie, Pittsburgh, and Thomas Andrie, Reedsville. Kay also has two surviving sisters: Mary Ann Kuffa, North Ridgeville, OH and Andrea Renosky, Indiana.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister.

Family and friends will be received Friday, November 4th from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, of Indiana where the Rosary will be recited at 3:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday morning, at 11 AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.
