Condolence: So sorry to hear this news; my condolences to the family.

So many memories of Mr. P., both at IHS and at Graystone . . . Even more than singing, what I most appreciate his teaching me was how to be a good accompanist, a skill I've had many opportunities to put to use in the 30 years since I graduated. His love of music, particularly in the setting of worship, was an inspiration to me. I was glad to have one more chance to see him in Indiana just a couple of years ago, and I will miss him.

Condolence: I'm saddened to hear of Mr. Pecsenye's passing. Band (1970-1972) was truely the highlight of my high school years, and it was because Mr. Pecsenye was such a kind teacher. Through the years, I have often thought of him and the good times we all had in band. His was a life well lived.

Condolence: I was a member of the marching band drumline during Mr. Pecsenye's first and second years at Indiana Area Senior HS. I know we and a few others tested him early and often. That's probably why I, and the other guilty parties, were always on his bus for away football games. But I do remember his kindness, thorough instruction, and attention to detail, in both marching and concert band sectional rehearsals. He made us all better musicians and people. Sincere condolences and peace to all of you, at this most difficult time. Stefan Brodsky, Thornton, CO.

Condolence: Dwight, as we knew him, along with his wife, was a friendly neighbor. They were pleasant to Sue and I when we walked by their home, and they gave us pears when the fire blight did not cause crop loss. I remember both with fond and warm memories. RIP good neighbor.

Condolence: To the Pecsenye Family:
I am so sorry for the passing of your patriarch. As an old friend and fellow Pitt Band(mate) of Tim's, I was never privileged to meet Mr. Pecsenye, but I witnessed first-hand the legacy he leaves behind through the kind, compassionate, intelligent son I was blessed to befriend. May God comfort and bless each of you as you navigate the difficult days of grieving ahead.
Sincerely,
Kimberly Nebel-Douglas, Scott, Alex, and Christian
