Obituary for Ronald E. Jusko Sr.

Ronald Eugene Jusko, Sr., 83, of Clymer, entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 19, 2017.

He was born on September 26, 1934 in Heilwood. He was the son of Alex Carl Jusko, Sr. and Pearl Olive (Croyle) Jusko.

Ron graduated from Pine Township High School and worked for Penn DOT for 29 years. He was also the owner of the Jusko Insurance Agency for 28 years. He was a member of Heilwood Presbyterian Church, Heilwood Sportsman’s club, American Legion and the Moose. He also served in the U.S. Army.

Ron’s greatest pride and joy was his family. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren. He had a special bond with each and every one of them. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and “tinkering” in his workshop. Some of his favorite past times were feeding his birds and trips to watch the elk in Benezette.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kathleen Sutila Jusko. Four children: Terri (Mark) Myers, Clymer; Tammy (Bill) Hamilton, Clymer; Becky (Steve) Dumm, Penn Run; and Shawn (Angela) Jusko, Saltsburg. His thirteen grandchildren include: Emma, Danny and Vinny Myers; Luke, Mitch and Tommy Hamilton; Stephen, Nathan, Adam, Lauren and Megan Dumm; and Damon and Chloe Jusko. He is also survived by his sister, Mona Jusko Eyles and a brother-in-law, John Sutila.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Eugene Jusko, Jr.; his parents, a brother, Alex (Nook) Jusko, Jr.; a sister, Louise Jusko Bassaro, and his mother-in-law, Emma Dropp Sutila.

Visitation and services will be private. Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, of Clymer is assisting the Jusko family. Online condolences may be offered by visiting rbfh.net.
