Ronald Lee Zack, 66, of Indiana, formerly of Penn Run, was called to his heavenly home, Saturday, December 2, 2017. He was a patient at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born in Indiana, March 15, 1951, he was a son of the late Raymond L. Zack and Ida Jane (Barr) Zack.

In his earlier years he attended Penns Manor High School. He was an active social member of the Cherryhill Township Volunteer Fire Department, Station 240. Ron always made the coffee on Bingo nights at the fire hall. In addition to that, he was an avid bingo player. He also liked to eat out, listen to polka music and collect bird houses. Ron especially enjoyed helping and spending time with his family and friends. He loved to spoil his nieces and nephews and his grand nieces and nephews.

Ron is survived by the following siblings: Jane “Sis’ Sabo, Penn Run; Bob Zack (Barbara), Clymer; Bill Zack (Kim), Indiana; and Debbie Cover. His surviving nieces and nephews are: Kevin Zack, Jill Gaston, Stacy Crook, Jr Sabo, Robert Zack, Jr., Dan Zack and William Zack, Jr., Jennifer Wissinger, and Gloria Bruner. Other survivors include his great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Kenneth James Zack and brother-in-law, Zoltan Sabo.

Friends will be received Tuesday, December 5th from 1 – 3 and 6 – 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. Another visitation hour will be held Wednesday morning at 10 AM just prior to his 11 AM funeral service which will be held at the funeral home. Rev. Rick Markel will officiate. Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
