Nancy Ellen (Barr) Brocius, 63, of Indiana, died at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Born in Spangler, July 3, 1954, she was a daughter of the late, William S. Barr and Beatrice (Weston) Barr. On May 16, 1987 she married George E. Brocius and together they raised two children.

She graduated from Purchase Line High School in 1972. Nancy had previously worked for Kensington Windows, Vandergrift. She had also worked at the Indiana Walmart, Trader Horn, G.C. Murphy’s, and held several other jobs in the area.

Nancy was a great mother who would do anything for her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband George and her two children: Robin Baker and Cody Brocius (Emily), all of Indiana. Her three grandchildren: Arthur Ferrara, Jr., Indiana; Gabirella Brocius and Dakota Brocius, both of Indiana. Her siblings: Greta Meece (Wayne), Louisville, KY; William Wendell Barr, Enterprise, AL; Richard Barr (Joann), Strongstown; Vernelia Recupero (James), Dillsburg; Beula Wolf (Ronald), Indiana; and Frank Barr (Linda), Clymer. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; the following siblings: Elmer Edward Barr and Rozella Emigh; and brother-in-law: Darrell Emigh.

A visitation for family and friends will be held, Saturday, December 16th from noon until 2 PM with her funeral beginning at 2PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer with Pastor Jack Lucas officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
