I am so sorry to hear of Maria's death. She was an extraordinary woman and someone that I admired and respected very deeply. Maria's devotion to and pride in her family were legendary, and her selfless approach to helping and supporting others was an equal calling. I will miss her beautiful smile, her hearty laugh, and her genuine sense of joy and curiosity in living. Our lives are richer for having known her.
