Obituary for Annabell R Lowman (Marsh)

Annabell R. (Marsh) Lowman., 80, of rural Marion Center, unexpectedly died near her home, Saturday, June 23, 2018. The daughter of the late Earl Marsh and Margaret (Mitchell) Marsh, she was born in Blairsville, May 23, 1938. She was the widow of Horace Doyle Lowman, Jr., who died August 2, 2014. They were married 57 years and together raised four sons.

Annabell was a member of the first graduating class of the United High School in Armagh. In addition to being a mother and homemaker, she had worked in the Indiana area for many years, working at: Robert Shaw Controls, Renosky’s Lure’s, Bob’s Pizza, Pizza Hut and at Diamond Drug.

She never passed up the opportunity to join a good card game, and when a card game wasn’t available, she got online and played computer games with people from all over the world. Annabell enjoyed traveling to Cape Cod to visit her son Brad and his family. She also liked traveling to South Carolina to visit her close friends. Of course her greatest pleasure came from being with her grandchildren, whom she dearly loved.

Annabell was active with the Mahoning Hills Senior Center in Marchand.

Her surviving sons are: Joseph Lowman (Tammie), Marion Center; Timothy Lowman (Lisa), Penn Run; Brad Lowman (Marie), Forestdale, MA; and David Lowman (Vickie), Marion Center. Her surviving grandchildren are: Shannon Lowman; Stephanie Yarger ( William); Timothy Lowman, Jr.; Aaron Lowman; Michael Lowman; Hannah Ernest (Avith); Jacob Lowman; Ben Rader; Jeremy Lowman; Amy Lowman & boyfriend, Travis Zanick; Jason Lowman & girlfriend, Deidre Custer, Surviving great grandchildren are: Kamryn Rader; Alyssa Yarger; and Luke, Nick & Josh Lowman; Kylie Zanick. She is also survived by her foster brother, Eddie Bloom, Brush Valley; foster sister, Mary Ellen Hill, Ohio; brother-in-law, Alex Lowman, Indiana; sister-in-law, Edna Boring, Cherry Tree; and special friend, Clyde Deafenderfer, Indiana.

In addition to her parents and husband, Annabell was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Marsh; half sister, Betty Jean Kunkle; foster sister, Gloria Richardson; foster brother, Rick Derita; foster brother, Bill McCurdy; and infant great granddaughter, Allyson Zanick.

The will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment will be made at a later date in the East Mahoning Cemetery, Purchase Line. The Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Inc. of Clymer is assisting the Lowman Family.
