Obituary for Sue Betsa
SUE HUDAK BETSA, 96, of Akron, Ohio, formally of Clymer, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2018 at the Village of St. Edward in Fairlawn, Ohio.
Born in Colver, PA on April 18, 1922 to the late George & Julia Hudak, she had been an Akron resident since 1946. She was a member of St. Mary Orthodox Church in Akron.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John in 2008, Brothers Michael, Nick, George, Pete, and Andrew; and Sisters Elsie, Helen, Betty, Anne, Mary and Margaret. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John & Marilyn Betsa of Lawrenceville, GA; sister Irene Willits of Fort Myers, FL, as well as a host of nieces & nephews.
A Requiem Divine Liturgy will take place on Thursday, 9:30 am at St. Mary Orthodox Church in Akron with Very Rev. Dr. Myron Zuder officiating.
Family and friends will be received on Friday morning at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer, from 9 to 10 am where a funeral prayer service will be held by Very Rev. Frank Miloro at 10 am with interment to follow at St. Michael Orthodox Greek Cemetery, Clymer, PA. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to St. Michael Orthodox Church, 465 Morris St., Clymer, PA.
