Betty Marie Scarpino, 61, of Indiana, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at her residence. Born in Pittsburgh on August 29, 1957, she was a daughter of Frank Scarpino and the late Sarah (Bonomo) Scarpino.

Betty loved being with her family, especially on holidays and birthdays. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Indiana where she enjoyed volunteering and helping with church activities. Betty was a big fan of the Steelers and Penguins and rarely missed watching a game on television. She also dearly loved her dog and best friend, Gracie.

She will be missed by her father, Frank Scarpino, Indiana; her sister, Debra Kearney (Brian), Brush Valley; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, James T. Scarpino.

Friends will be received, Friday, January 4th from 6 until 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. Her funeral will begin at 10 AM, Saturday morning, January 5th at the Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana. Pastor Kathy Mihoerck will officiate. Burial will be in the Smithfield East End Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
