Obituary for Dennis J. Corbelli
Dennis J. Corbelli, 72, of Indiana, died Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Beacon Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where he was a resident. Born in Indiana, November 3, 1946, he was a son of the late Anthony Corbelli and Lena (Mandoline) Corbelli. Dennis was a lifelong resident of Indiana County.
A 1964 graduate of Indiana Area High School, Dennis worked and retired from Robert Shaw Controls.
Dennis was a loving and devoted son and brother to his parents and his sister, Linda. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, camping, fishing, horses, playing guitar, Rock & Roll music, hot rods, his own hot rods and the Indiana County Fair.
During his lifetime, Dennis devoted many hours to helping with church activities. He’ll be remembered by his family and friends as a happy person who was kind, loving and respectful to everyone. His loving family adored him. He resided at Beacon Ridge for many years where he made many friends between the residents and staff. He loved everyone at Beacon Ridge who cared for him while he was ill.
He’s survived by: sister, Linda and brother-in-law, Michael Metala, Homer City; Nieces: Felecia Metala, Hobe Sound, FL; Ronna Metala, Apollo; Elizabeth Cottone, Erlangen, Germany. Other family survivors include: great nephews, Anthony and Vincent Holmes, Apollo and great nieces, Annalena, Emily & Isabella Cottone of Erlangen Germany.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in by his sister, Jacqueline Corbelli.
In accordance to his wishes, service arrangements are private. Following cremation, Dennis’ remains will be buried at St. Bernard Cemetery in Indiana.
