Obituary for William M. Ruddock

William Matthew “Bill” Ruddock, 48, of Tanoma, died at his home, Wednesday, April 24, 2019 following a brief illness. Born, July 12, 1970 in Indiana, he was a son of Donald Ruddock, Sr. and Judith Yackuboskey Ruddock of Barr Slope. He was the husband of, Missie Simpson Ruddock, whom he married May 17, 1997.

Bill was a 1988 graduate of Marion Center High School. Over the last 33 years, Bill worked as a machine operator, 18 years at Polyvision, Clymer and 15 years at Kukurin Contracting, Export.

Bill was a true family man. He loved his wife and three children, his parents, his four brothers and their families, and he would do anything and everything for them. He enjoyed going to sporting events where his children or nieces and nephews were participating. He was an outdoorsman who hunted and fished. He also liked playing softball, whiffle ball and always enjoyed a good card came.

He was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Missie, Bill will be missed by his children: Nathan E. Ruddock, Alicia M. Ruddock and Averi N. Ruddock, all of Tanoma. His siblings are: Donald Ruddock (Marie), Clymer; Brian Ruddock, Home; David Ruddock, Shelocta; and Robert Ruddock (Tracey), Barr Slope. Bill will also be missed by the following nieces and nephews: Lauren Smith, Ashley Deitman, Luke Ruddock, Cassandra Thompson, Megan Ruddock, Amber Wissinger, Vinnie Fry, Giana Ruddock, and Alivia Ruddock.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandparents.

Friends will be received, Sunday, April 28th from 1 until 3 PM and from 5 until 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 29th at 11 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Interment will be at the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the Ruddock Family asks that memorial donations be made to the VNA Hospice of Indiana County, 850 Hospital Road, Suite 3000, Indiana, PA 15701.
