Monica Babyak, 75, of Heilwood, died Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born January 18, 1944, in Morgantown, WV, she was the daughter of the late John Babyak and Mary (Potancok) Babyak.

Monica was a 1960 graduate of Penns Manor High School and later went to Cambria Rowe Business College, Johnstown. She worked for Indiana Regional Medical Center’s information management system for 35 years.

She enjoyed flowers and gardening, and loved to play the organ. Monica also liked to go to the Rivers Casino with her friend Betty, and taking Buffy, her Cocker Spaniel, for walks.

She was the organist for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Alverda for many years.

Monica is survived by her brothers: John Babyak, Heilwood, and Francis Babyak, Clarion. She will also be missed by her nephew Frank Babyak and niece Clarissa Snowen, both of Clarion.

Friends will be received Saturday, June 15th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, the time of her funeral service, at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. Pastor Jennifer M. Oaks will officiate. Private interment will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Cameron Bottom.
