Obituary for Thomas E. Lydick

Thomas Everette Lydick, 78, of Clymer, unexpectedly died at his home Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Born April 26, 1941 in Clymer, he was a son of the late Roy and Flora (Hullenbaugh) Lydick.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War where he was stationed in Italy. Following his tour of duty, Thomas became a lifetime member in the American Legion. He later joined the National Rifle Association.

During his working career, he worked a number of years at Levinson’s Department Store in Clymer before going to McCreary Tire in Indiana. Most recently he had been employed by Service Master in Indiana.

Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Gladys Lydick, Clymer; George Lydick, Penn Run; Christina Kyrouac and husband, Ken, Bourbonnais, IL; Roger Lydick and wife, Rose, Clymer; Raymond Lydick and wife, Pat, Indiana and Dorothy Harbrige and husband, Bob, Commodore.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Goldie Lydick; infant sister, Barbara Ann and another infant sister.

Friends will be received Saturday, July 20th from 4-6 PM, at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home in Clymer. Funeral Service will begin at 6PM Saturday following the visitation hours at the funeral home. Pastor Kim Betz will officiate. Interment will be held at a later date in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
