Obituary for Michael J. "Shake" Mano

Michael J. “Shake” Mano, 55, of Clymer, died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh due to pancreatic cancer. Born in Indiana, March 9, 1964, he was a son of the late Andrew Mano and Stella Louise (Cochran) Mano.

Shake was a 1983 graduate of Penns Manor. He enjoyed his time spent visiting with family and friends and helping them in all aspects of life, without ever asking for much in return. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, swimming, camping, and riding four wheelers. He also liked to shop at Wal-Mart with friends.

Shake is survived by his siblings: Kenneth A. Mano and his wife Theresa, Creekside, PA; John I. Mano and his wife Elaine, Clymer, PA; Mary M. Ripple Weaver and her husband Greg, Purchase Line, PA; and Kimberly S. Felton and her husband Gary, Commodore, PA, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Adam Mano.

Friends will be received Friday, August 30th from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8PM at the Rairigh- Bence Funeral Home, of Clymer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, August 31st at 11 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer, Rev. Father James Morley, celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery in Clymer.
