Obituary for Lenora Luella Donahue

Lenora L. (Roberts) Donahue, 98, of Indiana, PA, formerly from North Richland Hills, TX, died peacefully in her sleep early Monday morning, September 9, 2019. Born in Chicago, IL May 10, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Brough D. Roberts and Myrtle C. (Allen) Roberts. She was the wife of the late Robert Joseph Donahue.

Lenora worked in retail sales at Woolworths and Stripling & Cox Department Stores. She also worked as a typesetter for Popular Mechanics Magazine, and was a homemaker and mother of 5 children.

She was an avid reader, loved to crochet, paint ceramics, and decorating her home for all holidays. To relax, she did word searches, puzzles, and watched movies. Lenora also especially enjoyed playing cards, games, and spending time with her family.

She attended the First United Methodist Church of Hurst, TX prior to moving to Pennsylvania in 2010.
Lenora is survived by her daughters: Dian L. Krone, and her husband John, of Clarksville, TN; and Donell L. Kingan, and her husband Michael, of Indiana, PA. She will also be greatly missed by her 11 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons: Robert “Robin” Lee, Tim Lee, and Gary Lee, her grandson, Edward Zoller, and her brother, Allen Roberts.

Friends will be received Saturday, September 14th, 9:00 AM at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, in Colleyville, TX. Burial will take place in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00.
