Obituary for Vincent G. Mihoerck III

Vincent G. Mihoerck III, 45, of Markleysburg, and formerly of Northern Cambria, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg. He was born, July 28, 1974 in Spangler, to Vincent G. Mihoerck Jr. and the late Deborah DeFazio.

Vincent was a graduate of Penns Manor High School. He later went on to the Pittsburgh Technical Institute and became a computer aided draftsman. This job allowed him to travel extensively across the United States, which he greatly enjoyed.

Vincent truly liked being outdoors, whether it was riding and racing his mountain bikes, or fishing, boating, and camping. He also especially loved to spend time with his family.

He attended Church of the Resurrection, Heilwood as well as Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana.

In addition to his father, Vincent is survived by his step-mother, Kathy Mihoerck, and his siblings: Jennifer
Golby, and husband, Daniel, of Johnstown; Christiana Smicklo, of Markleysburg; Michael Jones, and wife, Anne, of Indiana; and Amanda Sleigh, and husband, Al, of Indiana. He will also be missed by his nephews and niece: Austin Golby, Dan and Wil Jones, Gabe, Rayana, and Caleb Sleigh, his paternal grandma, Marie Mihoerck, of Northern Cambria; his step grandmother, Beth DeFazio, of Floral City, FL; his step grandmother, Doris Adamson, of Mesa, AZ; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his mother, Vincent was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dominic and Elizabeth DeFazio; his paternal grandfather, Vincent G. Mihoerck; his uncles: George Mihoerck and David Mihoerck; and his step grandfather, John Adamson.

Friends will be received at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer on Friday, November 1st, 2019, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Additional visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, November 2nd, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, with his funeral service immediately following. Reverend William J. Blair will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Cameron’s Bottom.
