Obituary for William Zoltan Kegel

William Zoltan Kegel, 39, of Indiana, died Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the West Haven
Nursing Home in Apollo. Born, January 5, 1980 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Cara (Latinovich)
Kegel, Punta Gorda, FL and the late William Raymond Kegel.

Bill was a graduate of Hurricane High School, Hurricane, West Virginia. He attended West
Virginia University and I.U.P. where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminology. He had been
working for the Ricoh Company as a copier and printer salesperson.

Bill was a fan of WVU Football and the Pittsburgh Pirates. He also loved to learning about U.S.
History. Most of all, he enjoyed traveling and being with his family, especially his son, William.

He married the former Louella Elizabeth Hartzell, October 1, 2008. They recently celebrated
their eleventh wedding anniversary.

In addition to his wife and mother, Bill is survived by his son, William Kenneth Kegel and the
following siblings: Ryan Kegel (Sarah), Cary, NC; Sean Kegel (Amanda), Delaware, OH; and
Danyele Kegel, Boston, MA. Other surviving family members are: mother-in-law, Joyce Minich;
step-father- in-law, Ken Minich; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and his father-in-law, Kenneth Hartzell.
Friends will be received Thursday, November 21 st from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and from 5:00 to 7:00
pm at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. His funeral service will begin at 7 pm
Thursday evening following the visitation hours at the funeral home. Pastor Jack Lucas will
officiate. Interment will be private.
