Mary Louise (Richards) Miner



Mary Louise (Richards) Miner, 70, of Trafford, died Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. She was the widow of Howard K. Miner, Jr., who died in 1984.

Born August 17, 1949, in Josephine, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Mary (Zuzilia) (Dutko) Richards.

Mary graduated from Connellsville Area High School and the Monroeville School of Business. Her career was in real estate management and accounting. Mary and her late husband managed a housing complex in Forest Hills. She was also an accountant at the Clean Textiles Company in Lawrenceville.

Mary was a bible study coordinator for her residential building in Trafford. She was affiliated with the Word and Worship Church, White Oak Campus, in North Braddock. She was interested in photography, crafts and painting.

She is survived by her sisters: Helen Markel, of Penn Run; Margaret Hosak, of Indiana; and Barbara Bomba, of Johnstown. Her brother Charles Richards and his wife, Teresa, of Washington County, also survive her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; sister, Shirley Townsend and step-brothers Phillip and Eugene Dutko.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at Mill Run Baptist Church Cemetery.
