Chris Allen Patterson, 39, of Cherry Tree died following an extended battle with cancer on Friday, May 29, 2020 at his home. Born in Spangler on December 25, 1980, he was a son of Clyde and Juanita (Rummel) Patterson of Cherry Tree. He was engaged to Kristin E. Ferry of Cherry Tree, with whom he resided.

He was a graduate of Harmony High School and previously worked for Specialty Tires in Indiana. At the time of his illness, Chris was a technician for Preferred Laundry, Ebensburg.

He enjoyed the outdoors, going fishing, hunting and cutting wood. He especially liked being with his family and spending time with kids.

In addition to his parents and fiancé, Chris will be remembered by his siblings: Daniel Patterson (Ronda), Porter, PA; Della Deyarmin (David), Glen Campbell, PA and Luke Patterson, Clymer, PA. Other survivors include 4 step-grandchildren and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and a niece and several nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and several uncles.

Service arrangement are private. Cremation at the Rairigh-Bence Crematory under the direction of the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer.
