Obituary for Nora Jane Lantzy (Wagner)

Nora Jane  Lantzy (Wagner)
Nora Jane (Wagner) Lantzy, 61, Indiana, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Born, January 19, 1955 in Spangler, she was a daughter of Dolores M. (Ulrich) Wagner and the late John C. “Junie” Wagner.

Nora was a graduate of Northern Cambria High School and the Altoona School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

Nora cared deeply for all and would do anything she could for people. She enjoyed camping trips and loved being a traveling baseball and hockey mom. Nora loved and enjoyed being with her granddaughters, and spending time with her mother, family, and friends.

She is survived by her sons: Joshua E. Lantzy, Indiana; and Aaron J. Lantzy & wife Jackie, Altoona. Her siblings: Lynn Gibson and husband John, Warren, OH; Jan Mears & husband Dana, Foxchapel; Edward Wagner and wife Susan, Johnstown; and Thomas Wagner and wife Lynn, Indiana. Her granddaughters: Ryann E. Lantzy and Charlie K. Lantzy. Nora is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Jennifer Eichorn & husband Chris; John Gibson and wife Sara; Jason Gibson; Megan Mears; Lauren Mears; Alison Mears; Haley Mears; Matthew Wagner and wife Carrie; Johnathan Wagner; Julia Wagner; Katie Bowe and husband Killian; Jack Wagner; Simon Mears and wife Mary Grace; and Clare Stefanini and husband Paul.

Friends will be received Friday, January 20th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:30PM at the Christ Episcopal Church, Indiana. Burial will be in the North End Cemetery, Northern Cambria.
