Message: Dear Suzy & Jay: We are spouses who are both retired educators. Having taught many thousands of students over our collective 60 years teaching, we are pretty good at spotting "bright lights" among teens and 20-somethings. While Clara was not one of our students, we did know her the 2 years she spent in Indiana PA. In particular, Clara and we were among the original folks here with RWG - Refugee Working Group. Upon meeting Clara, it was easy for us to recognize her among the brightest lights we had ever met. So, an eternal memorial candle is a most fitting way to help us honor her too-short life, but one filled with love, light, hope and happiness wherever she was. Much love, Faye B & Don L
