Spotting Deer
One of my many wonderful & loving memories of Tom is when Bill & I would go take a trip from our home in Connecticut to Pa. Tom, Carol & Stephanie would be visiting with our Mom & Dad in Bakerton. Tom would always say, Elnora, do you want to go spotting deer out at Glendale. Of course I would always say, Yes. Then anyone who could fit in the car would go.
Living near the State Forest in Conn. we see many deer in our yard, but not up close like we did at Glendale where they would leasurely just walk across the roads & up near your car. We could actually see 50 to 75 deer there in one night.
Tom would never tire of going out spotting deer. Just like he never tired of going fishing & bow hunting. Those pleasant memories of Tom will remain with us always. He'll be forever in our hearts..........
