Obituary for Leon William "Paw" Kensey Sr.

Leon William "Paw"  Kensey Sr.
Leon William Kensey, 57, of Penn Run died Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 28, 1959 in Indiana. He was the son of William E. and Amanda (LaRue Brown) Kensey.

He married Lynn A. (Marcenzo) on October 22, 1983. They shared 33 years of marriage. Leon was a 1977 graduate of Penns Manor High School. He was previously employed by Schoenfelt Heating and Plumbing, and Cherryhill Township. For the past 18 years Leon worked for Rizzo and Sons Contracting as a crane operator.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his one and only beautiful granddaughter, Baby Girl Rory. Leon enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his side by side, splitting wood, and working with his backhoe. He also enjoyed going to camp with his good friends Magoo, Muzzy, Tommy and Bill.

He is survived by his parents, his wife Lynn and son Leon William Kensey, Jr. (Lee) wife Jenna and granddaughter Aurora Adele of Penn Run. He is also survived by sisters Lisa N. Marshall and husband Bob, Penn Run, and Linda A. Stupic and husband Mark, Penn Run. He will also be sadly missed by his father-in-law Charles Marcenzo and wife Carol of Indiana, his sister-in-laws Tammy Dalton and husband Mark, Heilwood and Cindy Hays and husband Rusty, Clymer and numerous nieces and nephews, who were so special to him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Milton and Minnie Brown, his paternal grandparents William and Freda Kensey, his infant nephew Christopher Stupic and his mother-in-law Aggie Marcenzo.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 26 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. An additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27 from 10:00 – 11:00AM at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM with Pastor Wilber Hostler will officiating.
