My childhood memories of Leon are some of the fondest I have, countless moments shared with him, Lynn, Aunt Nadine and Uncle Doug. He always joked around with me making me smile. Even when I few older, that connection continued. He was the kindest giant, in my little eyes. To this day, I appreciate the goodness from His heart in each of those memories. Including our "family" trip to Disney my senior year. Life becomes sad when an adult, but to have these memories of exceptional people has to remind us to remain positive and find peace in being blessed for them. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Lynn, his awesone son and family, Lee; and alll others that truly loved him. A true friend is difficult to find, hard to leave and impossible to forget. Leon was an inspiration to the entire Rizzo family. He always made everyone feel special. We have so many wonderful memories of laughter and jokes. Leon had a way of making every moment one to remember forever. Our family was blessed to have him touch our lives in so many ways. I am so sad at the passing of one of my best friends. The time I got to spend with Leon over the past years were full of laughs and good times! Every person you meet during your lifetime plays a roll in shaping your life. Leon made me a better person. How can you thank someone for that? I will miss him greatly.
